Yayasan Nanyang Press Has Donated RM40,000 for Water Supply Recovery Project in Kg. Kinasaraban 南洋报业基金已捐助4万令吉充做甘邦金拿沙惹班的水源重建工程

One of the most challenging water supply recovery project is Kg. Kinasaraban. Due to the topography of the village, a water pump is needed to be built in order to get water for this village, which costs up to RM40,000. The huge amount of construction fee was totally out of the financial capability of the volunteer group led by Dr. Hisham. After knowing the critical condition faced by this group of volunteers and villagers, Yayasan Nanyang Press has contributed RM40,000 for the water supply recovery project in Kg. Kinasaraban, Kundasang without any further delay. On 22 August 2015, Yayasan Nanyang Press team visited Kg. Kinasaraban to witness the completion of the water supply recovery project in Kg. Kinasaraban. Now, the water supply issue in Kg. Kinasaraban has been resolved and the villagers will not need to worry about daily water supply anymore! A total of 128 homes with approximately 640 villagers in this village benefited from the water supply system recovery project.

由于地势的问题，甘邦金拿沙惹班的重建工程比一般的来得艰难，义工们除了需要安装水槽，还得寻找适当的地方以安装水泵并需要高达4万令吉的工程费用。庞大的工程费用远远超出了莫哈末诺希山医生与义工们能负担的极限。南洋报业基金在得知这危急的状况后，立即答应拨出4万令吉以让甘邦金拿沙惹班的水源重建工程能够顺利进行。为了更了解当地的情况，南洋报业基金也在8月22日前往探访，同时主持和见证工程的完成礼。

如今，当地来自128户人家，共640名居民可免除每分每秒担心水源问题的困扰了。
